Day of Love!!! This has been a fun day for us as it is the one year anniversary of our first date. Last year, Matt took me out to dinner and bowling, he then dropped me off and came back like 15 minutes later with flowers. I was a bit freaked out then, but now I loved that he did that. What a guy! So much has happened in the last year and we are just loving it.
Today I was up before Matt and heart attacked his closet, the bathroom,
and the pantry door. It's a fun tradition that my mom does. It was a
total surprise for Matt.
We both had a busy day with work and school, but were able to surprise each other with a few little things throughout the day. Matt kept the tradition and got me some gerber daisy's and managed to sneak a pack of Diet Coke in my car for me to see when I left this morning. He knows what I love!
I hid candy bars for Matt throughout the day and had a red rose for him
that I got in my floral design class. We ate dinner at home. I made
flank steak, potatoes, and veggies. It was a nice meal topped off with
Matt's favorite dessert of brownies with vanilla ice cream and caramel.
